Area 25 II - Berlin, Germany 23rd September

This was our last gig in our Europe Tour, finally it was coming to an end, and i was so fucking scared of going back and at the same time completely homesick, missing my friends and family. I had experienced so much in the last months I really didnt know how i would fit in my old universe, people and situations to face, wondering if living being an artist could really work, not sure if I really wanted to go back, I had planned this tour for 6 months and it was over and I was collecting my mind again, rearranging it, putting everything in order.

I knew this trip had affected me deeply, but it was too much too process, I knew it would take some time, I still had no idea what was going on in my old life, and we still had to go to Mexico from October to December. I felt confident abour our music, I felt confident that the scene was the right for me, but I still didnt know exactly what to do with so much information and experiences. My diaries of these times are full of questions rather than answers, I went looking for something and the experience was so strong, that I knew I was coming back looking for thousands of ways to express this "thing". It was crazy and at the same time so easy and normal, suddenly I was waking up in Berlin everyday, living my normal life as an artist, something I didnt know how it would feel until I actually was on that situation. I was really happy and really scared, really confident, but completely freaked out, it was strange but I liked it, it could mean nothing or anything, and there was something quite interesting about that.

So that was our last week in Europe, and the last week of our tour, chilling with Ankur, tripping around Berlin, and talking about what had happened and trying to figure out what do next.

The last party was on berlin, it was in a indoor place, but it was nice, the sound was ok, there was deco and a lot of freaks. The party was dark orientated so there was nice music all the way, specially Wicked Hayo, who played a very nice live set. I was really amazed by the girls this time too, full of freak german goddesses dancing to night trance, beautiful :). It was a nice party and we had a lot of fun, would have been nice to stay more over there.

I had to leave on sunday so I had to leave the party early with Ankur to fetch my things and go to the airport. The trip back was really insane. First they didnt give the right info for the flight so i had to go from one aiport to the other one, there my luggage was stopped by customs because of my electronic gear, so I ended up loosing the flight, but one of my bags got to the plane without me!. So i stayed in berlin with one bag, the other one flying, and no flight to catch my plane from italy to buenos aires. I had to pay from my own pocket a flight, and when I get there, the Argentina flight was overbooked, and there were people screaming. I really thought I was going to loose my mind hahaha, I didnt know whether to cry or go insane. I ended up flying to Brazil and waiting like 4 hours for a flight to Buenos Aires. But i finally got back home and there was my family waiting for me, we hugged and got into the car and they started asking me millions of questions, it was great to see them :).

We want to send a big hug to Ankur, a great friend we made in this trip :D.

Warpen's Birthday - Bochum, Germany 16th September

We reached Ankur's house at night, very tired and sick of carrying a bag that we called "the green bastard", which was one bag with all the gear that weighted around 30kilos. It had wheels but one of them was jammed, so you had to drag it while walking, it was a royal pain in the ass. After carrying it up 4 flights of stairs, we threm ourselves against the couch. As always some sacrifice is neccesary to achieve the transformation you look for :).

We spent the rest of the days tripping around Berlin with Ankur, eating falafels and doing music. We started a track together in the noise poison style, which we called Its ok. On saturday 16th we went to meet Shawnodese where he was staying in Berlin, as we both played in a birthday party in Bochum, a small town near dusseldorf. We finally got there after a long car ride, the place was strange, like some sort of resort, and the dancefloor was made of sand, very strange location. The sound system was very bad too, complete set apart, it was impossible to enjoye the music. We played there, but it felt strange, it really didnt make sense, Shawnodese played also and a dj from Turbo trance called Onyx. I felt asleep in a room that was very hot so i woke up drenched in my own seat and complete tired, we thre ourselved into the car and went to the train station and took a train to Berlin. The party was shitty but it was very nice to see Gosse and Ada, we encountered them many times during our trip in Europe and it was always fun to hang out with them.

We got back to berlin and hanged out with Ankur, doing music, watching movies and chilling. It had been a long trip and we were getting tired and already feeling a little bit home sick. But it was a great place to stay, we had a lot of fun in the aparment, also with Ankur's flatmate, who had a project called Salsa verde, a very strange fusion of styles with a suomi influence. Very good music!. We also visited the famous Noise Poison Camp in Berlin where Highko and Iguana live. We met Highko and his wife, very nice people, we spent a whole night listening to fast crazy psychedelic trance, we also got the chance to check out his new adam monitors, incredible sound on those little boxes.

It was nice to get some rest and meet people, I really like Berlin, im starting to think about moving there for a couple of years. I like the german psyscene a lot, nice people, a lot of energy and comittment and a very clear sense of what they want and how to get it. Berlin is an interesting city, there is always something to do, there is nice people and its very easy to move around and survive.

No pictures here hehehe, too lazy to take them.

Dark Prisma Party - Prague, Czech Republic 9th September

We arrived to Berlin and there was Ankur waiting for us. We had met him in Austria before and we became very good friends during our stay in Europe. We stayed with him and Johanna for 2 days, we just hanged out and listened to music and planned to do a track together for Ankur's upcoming compilation called Extraterrestrial Comics, which will be released soon in Mass Abduction Records.

We went to a radio show to talk about the party and the project I have together with Pragmatix. The radio man was a crazy guy and he made us laugh a lot as we were tripping with czech and how it bizarre it sounds to us. We went back to the club and slept in one of the rooms. We woke up the other day and met Cymoon from psytrance.cz, we went for a walk around downtown and then to eat something, it was very nice to meet him, he always liked our music and we had been talking for ages over internet. Here we got the first glimpse of this wonderful city, we saw the bridge, the castle, but we dediced to save our energy for the night.

The party started with a Cymoon dj set, and then as Frantic Noise started on the mainfloor, I went to play as Jangala on the dub floor. Then we played together as Megalopsy and i also did a dj set. We had a very nice time, the sound was good, the deco was amazing, and the people were really into the party, dancing with a lot of energy. Then another dj played, i dont remember his name, but it was dark stuff for sure. I was really amazed by how many beautiful girls i saw that night, for us is so crazy to see this pale-white blonde girls, they seem to be made out of ice! so different!. What I didnt like so much was how drunk people got there, in the end it was impossible to talk with anyone heheh, they were too fucked up. Anyways it was a very good party, a lot of nice vibes in the dancefloor.

We decided to stay in Prague for a few days to check out the city. We took the tram and our tourist guide and headed to the typical sight-seeing tour. We went to the jewish cemetery, we went to the castle, to the king charles bridge, to the museum of torture, we checked the old city, etc. We did the typical tourist tour heheh. But it was really worth it, this was one of the most beautiful cities I have seen in my life, the old streets, the parks, the old buildings, the moldova river, the castle in the horizon, the crazy street artists, the people, everything!, its really an inspiring city. I enjoyed hanging out much more than going to the tourist things, if I had had more time I would have stayed there, just walking and chilling out, I really fell in love with this place, it has a very different vibe from the rest of europe. We also spent some nights hanging out with Omri, he kicked my ass in table soccer and we had fun eating and dealing with this crazy thing called reality. He was a great guy and he made us laugh a lot.

We decided to go on September 13th. We went back with the same system we used before, only this time we travelled with a 2 meter high german karate professor that lived in Budapest who was hurt in one eye. So it was a really freaky way to travel, the guy always had one hand on his eye, so he was just driving with one hand all the time. In the end we had to stop in Dresden as it was hurting too much, and I ended up driving the car from Dresden to Berlin hahaha, this was really crazy. With no license, driving a car of someone I dont know, in a country I dont know, hahaha, but well, only travelling you get this insane kind of things.

We took the U-Bahn and reached Ankur's house, where we based until we got back to Argentina. It was very nice to go to Prague, we want to send a big hug to Omri, he was a great guy and he gave us the chance to meet this great city.

F.U.B.A.R - Antwerp, Belgium 1st September

We arrived on the 28th of august to Brussels, Belgium, Jennifer, Johnatan and Jim were there to receive us. Jonhatan was the organizer for the F.U.B.A.R party where we were going to play on the 1st of September, together with Wicked Hayo, Lepton and Azidax. It was very nice because we could finally rest for several days before a party, in fact it was the first time we could rest hehehe. We stayed with Jenny and Jim in her house and just relaxed. We catched a flu, so this was the perfect excuse for not doing anything, we just made music, ate and talked. It was very nice, we also went several times to Holland and to the Nachtwinkel (Nightstore), as both of them were quite close :). I had met Jenny before looking for parties on the internet, she is a great person as was always there to help us, in fact she was going to book us, but in the end she had some problems with the location, but this didnt stop her from hosting us in her house and having a nice time together.

The party finally came, we got in Jim's caravan and head to the place. It was a small indoor location, it was ok, but there was almost no deco and the sound was pretty shitty. I ended up falling asleep, so I couldnt catch Wicked Hayo's live set, but I did manage to hear Lepton, who did a very good forest dj set. We played as Megalopsy and z1p played as Frantic Noise, with nice responde from the public. There we met Roelf from Lysergic Asylum, a very good guy that offered us a place to stay in Ghent, a city near Antwerp. The party ended and we went back to Jenny's house, althought the party did not have a good production, we had a nice time and we met the right people but as always in the last minutes!.

We decided to go and visit Roelf and the Lysergic Asylum guys, so we went to Ghent and stayed there for a few days. It was very nice, we met the guys from Dark eco and made some music with them and we hanged out with Roelf, Lepton and his friends. They were really nice people, we got along perfectly and felt really confortable, it i crazy how similar you can be to people who live so faraway, this is what i love of this culture, this global thing it has :D. It was great to meet the Lysergic Asylum crew, we share the same taste of music and the same energy to keep doing parties and releases, so i wish them a lot of good luck for all of their projects, im very curious to see what the future will bring.

Finally on the September 7th we got inside Jim's car one more time to head to the airport to go to Berlin, it was tough to move as we were so used to be in Belgium, but this crazy thing of playing and travelling is merciless. Our next gig was on the 9th in Prague, Czech Republic.

Return of the Shadows - Winterber, Germany 26th August

We arrived in Winterberg after a very freaky adventure through all the German transportation system. It was very nice to go from Austria to Germany by train, beautiful landscapes, it really looked like the Milka cow advertisement. We really had no idea we took the right train until we saw the sign in the station. Once again there was no one to pick us up but the location was just 200 meters away so it was ok :). We met Gunni and his wife, they owned the place and live on the top floor. It was a nice bar, with a lot of deco and good vibes, we ate some arab food and went to chill out after a very long travel. They were nice people and left the house for us, so we just stayed there eating, watching movies and recovering energy.

I woke up the next day and decided to explore around the location, i found a beautiful spot with forest and river next to it, it was really a magical-goblin forest, with wooden bridges and no sound except nature. Then we got ready for the party, it was a nice one but very little people came for some reason, so i guess the organizer lost a lot of money. The party was well organized, good sound and good vibes, but well I felt bad for the organizer. But once again the party acted as a gate to meet the right people, and there Arik appeared, he played in the party togethere with another friend, both of them played very nice music. Arik was a very nice guy, he drove us to meet Astronom on a party in a town around 200km away from Winterberg. Astronom was the dj that got us this booking in the first place, but we only met him for about 20 minutes as he decided to leave early.

So we stayed with Arik all day long, just talking and listening to music, he was really a great guy and he welcomed us into his house with no problem at all. We watched Blueberry and chill out until next morning when he drove us to frankfurt so we could catch a train to Berlin and head to Belgium.
