Visit to the Hallucinogenic Horses - Near Orebro, Sweden Around September 27th

This was a short visit to the swedish sanatonic crew, I went to malmo and met Jens and Ola from Derango and we drove all they way up to Orebro and then to Markus/Traskel's house which is quite near the forest in a town outside Orebro. There I met Daniel (Makadam), Micke (Procs), Kim (Zalabim/Molokow) and Jahunn. We stayed a few days chillin and making music, it was really a very good experience, the swedish guys are really great people and they made feel very confortable in my stay there.

hey there everyone After our tour in Europe this summer and resting a few weeks in Argentina, we set sail once again to Mexico, this time on December 2007. We will be playing as Megalopsy and Frantic Noise in several cities and spending Christmas and New Year's Eve with our Mexican bros . Forest Blast Party - 20th of August , Berlin, Germany

One of the main reasons we also decided to go back to Berlin before, was because we found out that Highko was doing a free forest party near Berlin, and that Kindzadza, Alien Mental and Cosmo were playing!!!. We rented a car with Ankur and we went with Martin to the party. The location was a very crazy place, like dunes inside the forest, it was supposed to be a sea a lot of time ago and know there were like trucks and railroads to transport sand. Chesmo from Leipzig, also one of the organizers of Psycrowdelica, brought his Mackie soundsystem and they just set it up here, it was really undergound style, just put the soundsystem and you have a party :).

We arrived and all the Berlin/Leipzig crew was there. We also met for the first time Peter from Cosmo and to our surprise we also met Janczur and Paulinha from Brazil, it was great to meet them after so many years of talking over internet!!!. We also met La from Alien mental and his girlfriend Nori, and Lev from Kindzadza. The party started and there was good music from the start to the end, Janczur and Paulinha started, then Kindzadza played an amazing dj set, then Alien Mental, then Cosmo and then Kindzadza again, and then I think Iguana/Naked Tourist played too and the last dj was Tom, a very cool german dj. When Cosmo started, the rain became very heavy and we ran to the car, it was too cold, we ended up in the car for several hours until the morning stopped the rain. When we returned to the dancefloor we caught a part of Kindzadza morning set, the situation was really crazy, full of water, all the people crammed under one small tent, and Lev in the stage with all the speakers around him, it was really one of the most psychedelic situations I saw in my life, it was just insane heeheh.

When the sun appeared we explored the place, the dunes next to the forest were really nice, we spent a while enjoying the place with Nico, Highko, Dati and Ankur. It was really a nice party, very few people and incredible music, the german freaks are true psychedelic warriors, they do anything to keep the flow of music and good vibes going. It was a pity we couldnt stay longer as we had to return the car, but we all left the place with a smile, it was truly a psychedelic party.

Nature Grow - 18th of August, Warsaw, Poland

We took the train very early to Poland on Friday, to play in the Nature Grow festival organized by the Dark Life records crew. We arrived on the train station and we Ernest from Dark Life and he took us to the festival location and to our amazement we saw Martin there, our very good friend from Argentina, that happened to know some people in Hungary that were playing in the same festival, one of the turned to be Acid Goblins. It was great to see him :), you will see him in many pictures from now on and we travelled together for some days after this.

The festival location was not bad, a big park near the city, the deco was nice, and the sound was good. We relaxed waiting for the party to start, we also saw Emilio/Skunks of Satan again and we also met for the first time Psychoz from Macedonia. Everything went ok but suddenly we realized there was no hospitality at all, we got food a couple of times only and then we had to pay for all our food and drinks for the rest of the festival. We also had no tent, so we were lucky that we knew some people there, otherwise there was no place for the artists to sleep!!!. When we finally played for some police reason we had to play most of our set in half a volume. At least I met Dark Elf, Orestis and Psytour and I had a good time talking with them, but after seeing that no more than 100 people were coming to the festival all the vibe was gone, it was clear that it was not well organized and that there would be more trouble to come :(.

The next day we woke up and decided to leave one day before than what we planned, when I finally ask Ernest for our money he told they lost a lot and they couldnt give us all what they promised, so he gave us half and took us to the train station and we had to pay for own return ticket to Berlin :(. They were not bad people, but i still dont understand the lack of hospitality and professionalism, I talked with Dark Elf a few days later and they told me they also didnt get their money, i hope their pay their debts, it was not a nice experience at all :(. The line up was cool, the place was nice, but there was no vibe flowing at all.

Open your Mind- 11th of August, Moscow, Russia

We played for the first time in Russia on the 11th of August, we were contacted by Peter and we got booked for a party called Open your Mind, an outdoor event near Moscow. After a lot of trouble getting our visas, we finally got them 2 hours before our plane was leaving, we had to go the embassy with all our bags and we took a taxi from the embassy to the airport heheh, it was crazy but we made it and we entered Russia with no problem. There we met Peter and his friend and we hanged out for a while at their flat, then we went to the red square, it was really cool to see the Kremlin, it really looks like an alien building from another dimension, when i first saw it i had to smile, it was amazing, we also wanted to see Lenin but it was closed, so well maybe next time, if you ask me it is quite crazy to have a dead president on display hahah.

The next day we got ready and left for the party location, it was a nice forest like one hour away from Moscow, the party was small but the deco and sound was nice, the djs before played very nice music, but i really dont remember the name, but it was good groovy foresty psychedelic trance. we played both live sets in the morning which is always nice, we realized that in outdoor parties its great to play at dawn. We were really amazed by the quantity of vodka they drink hahah, a real Russian tradition haha, too bad that not a lot of people knew english, it was difficult to communicate, but always very funny to try. The party was nice but unfortunately there were very few people, so in the end the organizers ended up loosing money. We stayed very little in Moscow afterwards as our plane left on Sunday, so well we said goodbye to peter and we returned to Berlin to Ankur's place.

Urban Antidote Free Party Coruche, Portugal. 4th August '07

The plane arrived to Lisbon on Wednesday’s morning and there was Carlos (Khaos Sector) to pick me up and take the train to Covilha. I crashed at Helder’s for a couple of days hanging outwith him and his girlfriend Issa and the other Covilha Aliens. We talked and catched up a whole year of movement and changes. There I also found Max from Terranoise and his girlfriend who I had the pleasure to meet for the first time. Very nice people; we hanged out there for a couple of days, smoking, eating, watching cartoons and making some music until the day of the party.

The party took place in a very beautiful location a couple of minutes outside Coruche, a very small town in the middle of Portugal. The area was very green and like the typical Portuguese landscape full of hills and valleys. Less dry than Idanha Nova or Covilha as it was more close to the coast. We arrived in Saturday’s evening and met Ruvi and the other guys that were working there. The organization was formed by a coalition between Urban Antidote, Ruvi Productions (Ruvi) and another guy called Ricardo who was in charge of the place and the drinks. Although it was a small free party the sound system was powerful and clear. The dance floor was covered by a very nice parachute roof to protect the crowd from the sun rays, it was also decorated with very psychedelic backdrops and string arts hanging around and closing its perimeter.

The music started at 2 in the morning when the diesel for the generator arrived; the first sounds were in charge of one of the Covilha guys, who did a really killer DJ set mixing very well a lot of highly psychedelic music such as Atriohm, Derango and other Parvati style psychedelia. The crowd was already warmed up and shouting for more. After him, Helder started his DJ set with a very psychedelic mood, mixing very nicely some of his own Sushupti productions with other very killer tracks. Very smooth & groovy psychedelic set. By then I had the pleasure to meet Paulo a.k.a. Xãma Circus, an extremely funny guy with full psychedelic spirit; We started talking through Internet because he was in charge of the line up for the Kundalini Festival, which in the end was cancelled but we remained talking. We hanged out there, drinking, laughing and talking about crazy stuff all night. Afterwards it was my turn to play some of the Argentine psychedelics, which I did for almost 3 hours. I started with Megalopsy during the last moment s of darkness and ended with full day light and Frantic Noise music. After me, it was the turn of Khaos Sector, a new local Portuguese producer that promises to blow many many minds away with his music. He is making music for only 6 months now but his tracks already screamed and spilled psychedelia all over the place. After him Paulito (Divine Stones) was supposed to play as the last live act of the night but as he was out of order by that time, he left the space for the next DJs to start spinning some morning tunes.

I went back to Berlin with a very nice feeling of this very small but great party. The vibes were perfect, at most 150 people came but this was also the idea, a party just for the friends. Everything was over my expectations, the sound system, the location, the decoration, the peoples vibes, everything. The only detail was that Helder and I had some problems to get the money for my plane tickets from Ricardo; but it was ok in the end, after some hours of reasoning he gave most of it. So, my biggest thanks and vibes to Helder, Issa, Antonieta, Carlos, all the Covilha crew, Paulo Xama, Paulito and all the ones I’m forgetting. It was very nice to see you again! Thanks for making this possible and for receiving me so warmly!

Lysergic Asylum vs Psylence, Belgium, 28th of July

We finally arrived at Ghent on Friday evening, we had some trouble getting our visa for Russia so in the end we had to fly later than what we expected, this was sad as we were really happy to see all the Lysergic Asylum crew again and we wanted to spend more time with them. Dieter came to pick us up at the train station and he took us to his house and our host Dan, his brother and half of Dark Eco. We spent the night with them, Daan prepared delicious pasta :) , one thing that it's really amazing in Belgium is the hospitality, very gentle and calm people, they really know how to make you feel welcome. We relaxed until the next day while Daan and Bert prepared their live set, as you can see in the pictures, Dark Eco is full of hardware hehehe! they really do as much as they can live, really nice to see how they worked.

The day of the party came and we went to Brussels where Anthony from F.U.B.A.R picked us up, there we met Emilio from Skunks of Satan and his girlfriend both from Mexico and also with Dark Whisper, a german/italian dark artist. We travelled on his van to the party, great hippie caravan :). The location was very nice, it was a small castle next to a little river in the fields of Belgium, the weather was not very good, it was cloudy and raining once in a while, but the main dancefloor was indoor, so it was no problem. We met Lepton, Roelf and Rafael, it was very nice to see them again after one year! we met them by chance and now they were booking us, this for us was a real honor, as Lysergic Asylum is well known for their great dark parties. Also Sasha from Atriohm was there too, this for us was also amazing, as Atriohm is one of our favorite artists, it is very nice that people think we sound similar :).

The party started, we listened to L.A crew which is the progressive project of half of Dark Eco. Very nice sound, also very nice live set, they play with 2 Nordlead modulars, the sound is really amazing :). Then z1p played his live set as Frantic Noise, always very groovy with nice basslines, and then Lepton started his dj set, very good music but in a moment it was too fast for me, this also happened with Dark Whisper, too fast and heavy music, too much for me heheh, but it was amazing to see how the dutch people really enjoy this style, they dance all the time!. Then we went to hang out inside the castle and to get ready for our live set so we missed some artists of the line up, then we played our live set, the sound in the booth was good, so we had a good time playing. Then Atriohm did a very good dj set, a lot of nice stuff, derango, hallucinogenic horses, polyphonia, very nice music :). Then Dark Eco came, their more dark/forest stuff is very good, heavy synths and pounding basslines, watch out for this evil duo!.

Everything was going ok until Emilio from Skunks of Satan got a little bit crazy drinking and decided he wanted to play before his time, so this ended up in a very crazy situation, in the end Dark Eco got pissed and he stopped playing, but well it was not a very nice way of ending their live set. Emilio played for a while but he was way too drunk, it was a pity because his tracks are quite good, but well he managed to fuck the sound somehow, and they ended up unpluggin his stuff heheh, it was a quite strange situation, he is truly a mexican devil, full of energy but well alcohol is not good company. Then Makkura/Anthony started his dj set but the sound was fucked up, he played very good music but it was difficult for him to play like this. In the end the sound was ok, but well I was too tired and I went back inside the small castle to chill out.

We left the party together with Sasha from Atriohm and his host Yannick, we were very lucky to meet him, very nice guy, a dj and artist living in a town near Brussels called Leuven. He hosted us in his house, cooked us some food, and gave us a place to sleep. This is something incredible about the psyfamily, you get hospitality everywhere, really nice vibes :). Matias left to Portugal the day after and I stayed one more day hanging around Leuven with Yannick until I left on Tuesday for Turkey.

It was a very nice stay in Belgium, too bad it was so short! big hug to everyone over there and hope to see you next year!!!.

Psycrowdelica Festival, Germany - 20st July, 2007

The party area was a very green location outside Berlin, very quiet and peaceful, perfect for this kind of gatherings. We arrived on Friday afternoon after a 1 hour drive or so and begin meeting all our friends that were already there. The sound system in the main floor provided a really powerful and clear sonical experience as only the Germans know how to do it. Also the area was intensively decorated by many artists enhancing the psychedelic experience to the max. Neil Gibson from Canada was there hanging his paintings and backdrops all over the place making the visuals on the festival unique. The chill out area was in charge of Mindwaves Records, a well known chill out label based in Berlin. It was placed at least a hundred meters away from the main floor area so it was very isolated and quiet. It also provided a very psychedelic experience with its music and decoration.

Friday Night
The music in the main floor started very quickly after a couple of sound checks and was very good from the beginning and all the way until the end. Friday night was amazing, first some DJ’s started spinning some dark tunes creating the proper atmosphere for the rest of the night. Iguana started his DJ set which from the first track melted away all the minds in the dance floor. Really groovy and playful style that grew in intensity and power during the whole set. Very nice music. Afterwards, Highko started playing a really psychedelic set that also grew in intensity and speed for at least 2 hours. By then I was not sure about time anymore, I was totally caught by the music and surprised by how fast & psychedelic it can be. One of the sets I enjoyed the most. Then Karash started playing his live set which was also very very psychedelic, a good mixture between dark and pumping psytrance with strong alp forest influences. Ankur followed with very strong rhythms representing the fastest and more intense side of psychedelic trance. A very good balance between hard and trippy music I really enjoyed although I was very tired after tripping so many hours. Sometime around 12 in the morning I fell death into a sofa near the golden Buddha and slept like a rock for many hours.

Saturday Night
Saturday night was more Parvati foresty style and also very very psychedelic. Ilse was spinning great psychedelic tracks when we reached the stage, I was still sleepy and confused but I remember some really psychedelic sounds coming out of the speakers. Sometime around 9 we started our live set which we really enjoyed thanks to the mood of the people which was just perfect, it was early and they were hungry for psychedelic beats. Afterwards the serious psychedelic stuff made appearance. The Atriohm brothers started their live set containing some serious psychedelic material, very delicate music with a varied mixture of psychoactive elements. This was for me, the highlight of the party. Encephalopatycis music was also intensively psychedelic, the live as well as the DJ set kept the trippy mood and the crowd dancing all the time. Hokus Pokus was also very intense, he started playing with the first lights of the day and pushed the power a couple of levels up with his Danish style. When the rain started to get stronger, everyone sheltered in the little wooden house in front the stage watching the nature manifest his interpretation of the music, lightings and strong rain. Well, not everyone was sheltered, there were still many freaks dancing shamanically no matter the amount of water that was falling. Very good moment. Then Audioiboia, who was also responsible for some of the decorations, continued to play his set with great psychedelic sounds forcing the rain to ease a little bit. Very nice psychedelic style perfect for this time in the morning. After I played my Frantic Noise set I was followed by the Bombax guys that making good use of their name, bombed the dance floor with their music. After this I couldn’t keep track so much of the music as I was really tired and I ran out of fuel.

To resume, it was a really killer party with all the ingredients a psychedelic gathering has to have, perfect sound, line up, decoration and most important of all, the vibes. It was our first gig in this tour so it was more than a great start. We also had the chance to meet Mouka from Trishula and Ajana Records and his wife, it was great pleasure for us because he is our trance baba who first released some of our music and opened the door s to this world. It was a real pleasure to come to the core of the psychedelic scene in Germany, and to get to know most of you, the real psychedelic freaks. Million thanks for this great experience!

Acid Groove - Curitiba, Brazil, May 26th

This was our third time in Brazil, this party was organized by Acid Groove, we knew Neto from a long time over msn but this was the first time we met him in person. This party was really well organized, everything on time and everything done in advance, it was really confortable to play for them. This was great too because it was the first time we travelled together with Heterogenesis, a new project which will release an album on Dark Prisma soon in August, called Revoluciones Maquinicas. Neto booked all of our current projects Megalopsy, Frantic Noise, Pragmatix and Heterogenesis, so it was really cool, most of the dark prisma family invading Brazil :).

We stayed only for the weekend, but it was nice in the hotel we met Becoming intense, a very interesting night time project from Belo Horizonte, we also meet Reinaldo from Shwe Dagon again, and we hanged out with Heterogenesis laughing trying to ask for food and drinks in portuguese to the room service people. The day of the party came and we arrived on the morning, Heterogenesis and Pragmatix played around noon, as this was a day party. The deco was ok, and everything was very well organized, the brazil psychedelic crowd is very different than the rest of the scene, here they look more like club people, but there were good vibes and everybody was respectful. We played at night and there was not so many people, but it was ok, the sound was good, and the stage was confortable, so it was basically playing of ourselves, its great to hear your new stuff in a huge soundsystem, always helps to know what to change :). I really enjoyed Sutemis set and Becoming Intense's set, good psychedelic stuff for the dark hours.

We headed back to the party in a van with some of the brazilian artists, laughing and chatting, it was a fun party, the location was really nice, a beatiful place in the middle of the nowehere in Curitiba, it was fun to walk around and see the crazy brazilians dancing :). Thanks a lot neto for inviting us!!! Hope to see you again soon!

Fairy Tales, Costa Rica, April 28th

The party location was a beautiful camping area placed in the high on a hill an hour drive away from downtown San Jose. The city is surrounded by this kind of mountains creating a valley so the party area was very high and had an awesome view of the city. The dense nature there provided a very powerful psychedelic experience by itself. When we arrived there was a light rain falling and dark clouds in the sky, but everyone was calm because they knew the weater was going to change after a couple of hours, and it did! The area was prepared for party events so it had proper installations for the stage, chill out, toilets, also very nice small wooden houses that were available for rent if you wanted some private chill out space.

The sound system in the dance floor was very powerful and clear. The music started very quickly when Dusk started playing his music with very powerful guitar rhythms and industrial influences. Quite nice if you like this crazy trash side of psychedelic trance. Then the DJ set from Kagu started, one of the local DJs, for me was the highlight of the night, very nice trippy psychedelic music and very well mixed. Then i played my live set for 2 hours which I enjoyed quite a lot, by the end the sun was coming up and revealed a very psychedelic moment, with the awesome view of San Jose. I hope i can find some pictures later. Afterwards Piloy came into the stage and played some very nice psychedelic music and kept the crowd moving for some more hours.

Overall the party was an incredible experience, i was totally shocked by the power of nature there. It's a very tropical part of the planet so the temperature is very high during the whole year, making everything grow 10 times more than usual. The trees, the fruit, the bugs, the vibe, everything. Next time I will try to stay a little bit longer and visit some of the natural attractions there like the volcanoes and the beaches. People were also was very warm and nice, i felt at home at all times. Big thanks to the alien freaks there for making this possible, Enrique, Piloy, Kagu, Lilly, Nello, and all the Giney family! It was a great, great experience.
